# Expert Mode: Can I view my results in PPM (Parts per million)?

Yes! You can enable PPM units in your app settings:

1. Go to the **Profile** menu.
2. Select **Preferences**.
3. Turn on **Expert Mode** — this will allow you to view PPM units.

**Things to check first:**

* Update your FoodMarble app in the App Store / Google Play Store
* iPhone: you’ll need version **6.8.3 or greater**.
* Android: you’ll need version **7.2.7 or greater**.
* If you started using FoodMarble before July 2025, you may need to **unpair and re-pair your device** (Profile > Device).
* Devices manufactured before May 2023 may not be compatible.
