How Often Can I Test?
How Often Should You Use AIRE 2 for Breath Testing?
It’s natural to want as much data as possible from your AIRE 2, but spacing out your tests is key to getting accurate and reliable results.
Why spacing matters
Each time you take a breath test, a small amount of moisture is left on the sensor. If you test again too soon, that moisture can temporarily skew your readings. To keep your results accurate, we recommend:
- Leaving at least one hour between regular day-to-day breath tests
- Taking no more than 10 tests per day in total
Why intolerance tests are different
When you’re completing a food intolerance test in the Discovery section of the app, the setup is a little different. Once the test begins, the app keeps your AIRE 2 powered on with the sensors warmed up for the full testing period. This allows you to take a breath test every 15 minutes without worrying about moisture affecting your results.
This special mode is designed for accuracy — so you can clearly track how your body responds to the test food over time.
A note on physiology
It’s worth remembering that your gas levels take time to recover after each breath test. Your gas levels need time to stablize and leaving 10 minutes between tests is best. This is why we test every 15 minutes during a challenge.
✨ Takeaway: For everyday tracking, space your tests an hour apart. During intolerance testing, follow the app’s 15-minute prompts with confidence. This way, you’ll always get the most meaningful insights from your breath data.
