Secondhand FoodMarble Devices - What you need to know

If you've come across an ad for a secondhand FoodMarble device somewhere on the internet, the following considerations are very important before buying:

1. Health and Hygiene Risks

At FoodMarble, we do not recommend purchasing secondhand devices because of the unknown health and hygiene risks posed. FoodMarble devices come in contact with bodily fluids, such as saliva and any possible health and hygiene risks should never be overlooked.

FoodMarble device cannot and should not be fully sterilised using an alcohol-based cleaning product, as this may cause irreparable damage to the device sensors, if the cleaning agent comes in direct contact with the sensors.

2. No FoodMarble Warranty Cover

Every FoodMarble device comes with a 1 year warranty covering any manufacturing defect that may occur within that time period. If you have not purchased directly from FoodMarble, the device you purchase will not be covered under warranty, if an issue arises.

3. No Returns Policy Cover

If you purchase a FoodMarble device from a third party seller, FoodMarble will not be able to accept the return of your device in exchange for a refund or replacement.
