What’s in the Food Intolerance Test Packs?

Each FODMAP test pack contains specific sugars that naturally occur in everyday foods. To give you a sense of what’s inside, here’s how the contents compare to real foods:

  • Fructose → the same amount as eating about 2 medium-to-large apples *
  • Lactose → the same amount as drinking about 2 cups of milk *
  • Inulin → the same amount as eating 1–1.5 average Jerusalem artichokes **
  • Sorbitol → the same amount as eating about 2 servings of prunes (technically 1.7, but we’ll round up) ***

A note on comfort and testing

If you sometimes feel discomfort when eating these foods in your daily life, you may prefer to skip that particular test or use a smaller amount of the packet.

👉 Just keep in mind: if you use less than the full packet, your results may not be as accurate.

✨ Remember: The goal of these tests is to help you better understand your digestive responses. It’s completely fine to go at your own pace and make adjustments if needed — what matters most is that you feel comfortable and supported on your journey.
